Katrina Craig

Katrina Craig helps her clients acquire, develop and reposition hotels, clubs and resorts in the United Kingdom, Europe and the Asia-Pacific region. She leads and supports the entire development process from preparing a coherent business plan, through project team assembly, operator selection, fundraising, design development, cash flow planning to market launch. Having worked for over a decade with a hotel development company in Southeast Asia, she brings in-depth knowledge of property development, asset management and emerging markets.
Katrina is a Global Council member of the Hotel Solutions Partnership and serves as COO-Asia Pacific. Last year, Katrina led teams, or was a team member, on assignments that required her to

- conduct a workshop for a land-owning family who intend to develop an eco-resort in the Philippines
- led a team to analyse the market for a family-friendly resort concept in Central Europe
- perform due diligence and support the acquisition and financing of a large conference hotel in Germany
- conduct an operator search for a 200-key beach hotel in Albania. The hotel will be the centrepiece of Albania's first international-standard integrated resort.
- prepare a feasibility study to support the planning application for a themed hotel in the Loire Valley, France.
Prior to establishing her consultancy, Katrina worked in hotel and resort development and hotel brand franchising in Asia. In her last executive position as CEO of Accor Asia Pacific Hotels and Resorts Philippines, she oversaw the re-branding and refurbishment of 3 hotels totalling 1,150 keys to the Sofitel, Novotel and Mercure brands. Previous to this, she was VP for Projects at the Grand Hotels and Resorts Group where she was responsible for the development and marketing of some 400 resort residential units, renovated an 18-hole championship golf course and launched a marina and yacht club.
Katrina has a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from INSEAD in France. She is fluent in English and Pilipino and conversant in French, Spanish and Italian.
