Shared ownership (condominium, time share, fractional)
Our advisory services will address the hotel development and / or hotel operational implications where actual or planned shared ownership of the property entitles shareholders to certain usage rights, usually in the form of weeks. In fractional ownership the purchaser owns part of the title (as opposed to units of "time" in timeshare ownership). Some hotels are also developed as condo-hotels in which individual rooms are sold off to individual owners. Whereever there is shared ownership of elements of the hotel, operational matters (particularly room inventory management and pricing, and room refurbishment programmes) can be complicated but expert advice is at hand.
